About us
FAB Events Inc. was created after numerous family and friends kept asking us
when we would branch out and start our own events company. So, after 30
successful years of developing, coordinating, promoting and managing events
across Canada for 4 Calgary organizations (Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta
& NWT, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Forzani Group Foundation,
and Pacekids Programs) we did it!

The name of the company was a simple decision...FAB Events Inc. which is the
initials of my Grandpa (Frank A. Birss). To those that had the good fortune of
meeting this man, you would understand that he was all the elements that we
intend to provide to you…thoughtful, caring, considerate, respectful, professional,
results oriented and hard working!

We not only take pride in the outcome of all our events, but we also make sure we
take the time to listen & get to know our clients, sponsors, participants, guests,
committee members, charities and of course our volunteers!

Our background in this industry is quite extensive, as we have coordinated and
